Extra Curricular Activities

The school is very proud of its wide range of enrichment activities and visits. We firmly believe that children learn best through active learning (seeing and doing), and activities are planned to enhance this. Professional speakers, artists, musicians, and sports people work with children in our school, and the children visit many varied venues to widen their horizons and enhance their knowledge and understanding of the world. All visits and activities are subsidised by the school, with parents requested to make a voluntary contribution towards costs.

Key Stage two children have the opportunity to experience a residential course at Laches Wood Outdoor Education Centre, near Stafford, during which all children are encouraged to take part in activities such as orienteering, climbing, and team building.

After School Clubs

After School Clubs are offered on a termly basis.  Some examples of clubs we offer are: cooking, singing, computer coding, gardening/nature, knitting/craft and sports clubs.
