REMINDER OF BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL ARRANGEMENTS
School starts at 9.05 a.m. and finishes at 3.15 p.m. Classrooms are staffed from 9.00 a.m. onwards. You are welcome to “stay and play” if you come into school before this time, but staff will not be available to supervise until 8.55 a.m. so please do not leave your child/ren unattended in the classroom/s. Would all parents please collect or make arrangements for children to be collected from the foyer at 3.15 p.m. The first parent to arrive will be let in school by a member of staff and then parents can let into school other parents, please do not let into school anyone that you don’t know. No child will be allowed out of school until collected unless prior arrangements have been made. Please be prompt in collecting your child/ren and let us know if you are going to be delayed.
If you wish to speak to a member of staff please do so before 9.00 a.m. Mrs Greener is usually available from 8.30 a.m. onwards but needs to be in class at 9.00 a.m. Mrs Evans is usually available Wednesday, Thursday and Friday form 8.30 onwards. Your children’s safety is always paramount and we need to work together to ensure this.
Please return any outstanding questionnaires a.s.a.p. Your opinion is valuable.
Early Birds Breakfast Club to be booked with Mrs Riley. Fancy A DAY OUT WITH EARLY BIRDS BREAKFAST CLUB? Would you like to go to Rhyl or York? Or have you any other destination you would like to go (in this country) for a day out? Please contact Mrs Riley.
Please remember that the school is available for hire (out of school hours) for a modest charge and is regularly used by various local groups such as Longnor Players. Please contact the school for further details. More information about hiring will appear on this site shortly.
Please refer to the "Notes about Holidays" and "School Procedures" on the right which we have published as a reminder about the rules for absence from school, and for the dropping-off and collection of children at he start and end of the school day. Thanks.
Reminder: PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE MAIN DOOR OPEN ON ARRIVAL OR DEPARTURE IN THE MORNINGS - THIS IS A SECURITY MEASURE. Thank you.
Start and end of school : would all parents please collect and deliver children using the main school entrance and not use the top door/playgroup entrance. Please also refer to our School Procedures section (link on the right) for up to date information. Thanks.
